Join the Herd – Make an Impact, Win Big!

The Bisons Football Club is calling on our incredible community to step up and be part of something bigger! Our 2025 Volunteer Program is your chance to support the team, give back, and win awesome prizes – all while making game days unforgettable.

High school students: Need volunteer hours for graduation? We’ve got you covered with official signoffs for all hours worked.

How it works: Volunteers earn one entry per hour into our Season-End Prize Draw, with winners announced at a special event (TBD). The more you give, the better your chances to win!

What’s Up for Grabs?

Every hour volunteered earns you an entry into the draw. Prizes could include:

Bisons swag – hoodies, t-shirts, hats and more
Registration discounts – save on your season fees
Football gear – gloves, cleats, training equipment
Gift cards – to local restaurants, stores, and fan-favourite spots

How to Sign Up

Mandatory Registration: All volunteers must sign up on the Bisons Football website before participating. Sign Up Here
Insurance Coverage: Each volunteer is required to register to be covered under club insurance. Register Here
Volunteer Communication: After registering, you’ll be added to our official volunteer group chat to share your weekly availability.

Volunteer Roles

Volunteers help make game days and events successful. You can help out in one or more of the following areas:

Game Day Setup & Take Down
Front Gate Crew – ticket scanning and welcoming fans
Concession Stand – serving snacks and drinks
Merchandise Table – selling Bisons swag
BBQ Pit Crew – grilling burgers and hot dogs
Sticks & Down Crew – supporting on-field game operations
Mascot – wear the mascot costume during games and events, help energize the crowd, pose for photos, and create a fun, memorable experience for fans of all ages.
Special Events Team – helping with community events and fundraisers
General Help – jumping in where needed!

Scheduling & Availability

Volunteers will mark their weekly availability in the group chat calendar on their desired activity
Shifts may be reassigned to ensure all duties are covered based on your selection from sign ups
If you can’t make a shift, please let us know as early as possible so we can adjust

Program Expectations

To keep things fun and fair, we ask volunteers to:

Check in and log your hours
Be professional and respectful – you’re representing the Bisons
Show up on time
Communicate if you need to cancel
Please note: repeated absences or failure to follow program guidelines may result in removal from the program
